I bought an [[iPod Touch]] and posted some of my early experiences. We’ll see if I’m still satisfied with the purchase a week or two from now, but I suspect I will be.
Basically, I wanted a new toy, and I wanted a better handheld device to browse the web on open wi-fi networks. My Palm Tx just isn’t that great at web browsing, and my phone is too slow over EDGE (no G3 where I live yet).
I didn’t get an iPhone simply because I didn’t want to have it with me all the time and wasn’t convinced yet about the iPhone functionality as a phone….
We’ll see!
