Why the Mission Statement?

I just added the complete text of Jerry Maguire’s Mission Statement from the movie. It’s really long, and even I haven’t read the whole thing yet.
So, why’s it here?
Because I have been spending a lot of time recently, well really over the last year, thinking about my career, my life, and about society in general. I have been reading books, web sites, and magazine articles. Taking some quizzes (most of which are an absolute waste of time!). Writing some thoughts down. etc.
So, as a first introduction to this on my web page, I figured I would include this text. Perhaps someone will find it interesting. Most will never read it. But why not include it? ;)
