I recently began reading Mountains Beyond Mountains, by Tracy Kidder.
I heard an interview on NPR with Dr. Paul Farmer a while ago, and was intrigued. Since then, I have returned to residency, and have purchased one of his books, Pathologies of Power. Unfortunately, I have not actually read it yet. While waiting to feel motivated to read some non-fiction, however, I began to read the much shorter Mountains Beyond Mountains (when I get busy, I can still find time to read fiction, but non-fiction becomes harder…)
